The following individuals are members of Saga Capital’s Board of Directors:
Gunnar Thor Gislason is Managing Director of
Sundagardar hf. He has a business administration degree from the University of Iceland. His management experience covers financial markets and the food industry, as well as a spell as Chairman of
Stoke City Football Club from 1999 to 2006.
Mr Gislason was elected to the board of Saga Capital in 2010. He also sits on the boards of the following companies: Saga Eignarhaldsfelag hf., Hilda hf., Sundagardar hf., Langasjo ehf., Sild og Fiskur ehf., Matfugl ehf., Brimgardar ehf., Mata hf. and Salathusid ehf. He and associated parties hold an 11.52% share in Saga Eignarhaldsfelag hf. and Hilda hf., of which Mr Gislason personally holds 1.05%, while Sundagardar hf. (where Mr Gislason is Managing Director and a shareholder) holds 10.47%.
