Saga Capital operates in six areas or departments. The company's four pillars of income are Capital Markets, Corporate Finance, Investment Advisory and Treasury. The remaining two are Risk Management
& Operations and Legal Services & Compliance.
Saga Capital's Corporate Finance provides advice and assistance on acquisitions, disposals and mergers of companies and operating units for firms, holding companies and other institutional investors.
Corporate Finance offers a vast range of services in relation to transactions, among them share offerings and listings, supervision of due diligence reports, mergers and acquisitions, assistance in
relation to changes in holdings and participation in negotiations and contract making.
Legal Department & Compliance
The Legal Department provides legal advice and services to Saga Capital's Board as well as to its other operating units. The Department ensures that the company complies in all its activities with
current laws and regulations and works with supervisory authorities on individual legal issues that might arise in the company's activities. The Legal Department also cooperates with public
authorities in order to prevent money laundering and the financing of terrorist activities. The Department represents the company's interests in front of courts and before public authorities. The
company's Compliance is also under the realm of the Legal Department and the Department's employee is also the company's Compliance Officer.
Risk Management & Operations
Risk Management and Operations handles risk management, IT operations, and finance and accounting within the company. Risk management entails analyzing, measuring, monitoring and management of
risk in the company's operations and the division collaborates with other divisions to this effect. The division operates the company's IT systems and handles communication with service
providers. Furthermore, the division is in charge of settling all the company's operating pillars as well as the company’s annual statements and planning. The division also compiles regular
reports for the Board and CEO as well as for supervisory authorities and ensures that operations, accounting and supervision is in accordance with international financial reporting standards
(IFRS).
Capital Markets
The Capital Markets section of Saga Capital handles primary bond underwriting and brokers securities for companies, investment funds, securities funds, pension funds and high net-worth individuals. Saga Capital is a member of all the Nordic Exchanges and is thus able to provide its clients with wide-range services and access to the world's leading securities markets.

Through our Investment Advisory department, we offer corporate and professional investors contracted processing and management of distressed assets such as assets of dissolved companies, claims, shareholdings, real property or other assets that require special treatment. Most of our clients in this regard are holding companies, pension funds, insurance companies, financial institutions and others in possession of assets of this type who wish to outsource their management and processing.
