Dr. Hersir Sigurgeirsson, has been hired as the CEO of Saga Investment Bank. Mr. Sigurgeirsson is the former Managing Director of Risk Management & Operations at Saga. He has an extensive
experience in the financial sector e.g. at Kaupthing Bank. Mr. Sigurgeirsson has a doctorate in applied mathematics from Stanford University and parallel to his work for Saga has held an assistant
professor's position at the University of Iceland's Faculty of Economics and Business Administration.
